Ghost Hunt at The Galleries of Justice 21st of September 2012 £49 pp ?
Come and join the 6th Sense Paranormal Team on a Ghost Hunt
The Galleries of Justice has been recorded as a court of justice since 1375 and reference to the site goes back as early as 600AD. The building comprises of two court rooms, an underground gaol, an oubliette, caves and a site for execution, so lots to investigate!
The Galleries was a place for punishment, torture, abuse and execution, the conditions were so poor that the gaol was closed in Victorian times due to the appalling treatment of the prisoners. However the court was still in use up to 1991.
The oppressive atmosphere in this location is remarkable and many of our team have had some incredible activity at this location. In the caves and the oubliette we have had regular occurrences of stones being thrown on cue, the women being touched inappropriately, and shadows circling the edges of the group. In the court we have experienced knocking in response to questions, light anomalies and darting shadows. In the jail cells, there has been everything from knocks to moans and shadows.
Overall as a team we are itching to get back to this location, it is a ghost hunter’s paradise!
The ground in the caves is unsteady so we advise sensible foot ware, and it is impossibly dark so a good torch is a must please.
We will begin our night in the safe room where we will introduce our team and discuss the night’s proceedings. We will then ask you to participate in a meditation and protection circle as we feel that this heightens paranormal activity. We will do a equipment demonstration and a history tour then we will divide into smaller groups and get investigating! Throughout the night you will always have at least one team member with you and the Medium will share their time with all of the groups. Refreshments and light snacks will be available throughout the night and we will schedule regular toilet and cigarette breaks. Our event is planned to go on until the early hours however if you have a long way to travel or feel that the night will be too long, please feel free to arrange an earlier finish time with us.
At the end of the evening we will come together as a group and discuss our experiences together and close down the night for your protection.
