Ghost Hunt at Bodmin Jail. 25/05/2012. 9pm - 7am. -

Bodmin Jail dates back to 1777; it was built by its first prisoners who were said to have built their own hellhole. In its time, it housed over 150 prisoners... 55 of those prisoners were executed within the Jail’s walls. Many of the prisoners there were exposed to ruthless discipline and were forced to live in squalid surroundings. The Jail has several links to historical importance; as it was once used to conceal the Doomsday Book and the Crown Jewels. It was also the scene of where the last public hanging in Britain took place in 1909. The Jail is famous for the supernatural activity that has been captured in and around the Jail by a number of professional paranormal investigators’ and members of the public alike. Within the walls of Bodmin Jail, one can sense the unnerving oppressive atmosphere and almost hear the bloodcurdling screams of its past prisoners. Bodmin Jail is a legendary location with a terrifying historical reputation... Are you brave enough to join us at this extraordinarily spine chilling location?!
